Florida Rock and Sand Precast/Prestress joins J-J Hooks licensees

Midland, Va. - Easi-Set Industries announced the addition of a new licensee in Florida which recently began producing the proprietary J-J Hooks highway traffic safety barrier connection system.

“Florida Rock and Sand Precast/Prestress Company is located in South Florida next to Card Sound,” said Brian Stock, Easi-Set national sales director. “ It is a major aggregate and sand producer and also produces traditional precast utility products. It will fill the need for J-J Hooks barriers in South Florida.”

Florida Rock and Sand Precast/Prestress has been producing a variety of other precast concrete products, including underground utility products, for the past four years.

The J-J Hooks barrier connection system has been crash tested to National Cooperative Highway Research Program 350 standards. Self-aligning, identical ended J-J hook connectors allow for quick, easy installation of the barrier. There is no loose hardware, permitting a single section to be easily removed without disturbing adjacent sections and eliminating the possibility of lost, stolen or damaged parts. This is important for easy emergency access and protection against tampering and vandalism. J-J Hooks can be used as a temporary or permanent barrier system.
