Easi-Set^® Industries adds new J-J Hooks^® licensee 

MIDLAND , Va. – Easi-Set^® Industries announces the addition of a new licencee who recently began production of the proprietary J-J Hooks^® highway traffic safety barrier connection system.

Faddis Concrete Products of Downingstown, Pa., will produce the precast concrete barriers in two of its three plants. As a new licensee, Faddis has received in-plant production training from Easi-Set^®, focusing on the efficient set up, pouring, removing and yarding of the J-J Hooks^® barriers. Production training areas include in-plant, hands-on instruction related to ensuring Easi-Set’s^® quality standards from the welding of the J-Hooks^® to the cleaning and care of the precision steel molds.

Managing Director Moffette Tharpe says Easi-Set^® Industries is the only company in the industry that offers product licenses not tied to its own internal product development. “Our true mission is to help existing precasters diversify their businesses using proven proprietary products,” said Tharpe. He emphasizes that it is much more efficient for product developers to outsource packaging and licensing of proprietary products to Easi-Set^® rather than do it themselves, since Easi-Set^® has an established and proven process in place to accomplish this type of task.

The J-J Hooks^® barrier connection system has been crash tested and passed the National Cooperative Highway Research Program 350 Level 3 standards. Self-aligning, identical-ended J-J Hook connectors allow for quick, easy installation of the barrier. There is no loose hardware, permitting a single section to be easily removed without disturbing adjacent sections and eliminating the possibility of lost, stolen or damaged parts. This is important for easy emergency access and protection against tampering and vandalism. J-J Hooks^® can be used as a temporary or permanent barrier system.
